About the Contest

The Call

We believe that truly great images are not only visually compelling, they also carry with them stories Beyond the Frame. These are the images of ours that we keep looking back on, because their story imbues layers of meaning deeper than what initially meets the eye.

In this free to enter contest, we wanted to provide photographers the opportunity to share not only an image special to them, but also the story beyond the frame that we don’t perceive.

Beyond the Frame was an international contest eligible for entry by any legal resident of any country*.

The Rewards

1 Winner: FUJIFILM X100V Digital Camera

10 Finalists: PEAK DESIGN x FUJIFILM Camera Straps

A Brief Note from Ben

2020 hasn't been easy for any of us, but seeing this contest from beginning to end has been one of my greatest pleasures.

I want to give a THANK YOU to all those who helped make this happen, from my friends and mentors, to the incredibly talented and supportive jury, this was truly a team effort.

Most importantly of all, my heart goes out to everyone who took the time to share with us their images. We received more than 350 submissions from over 100 countries, making this truly a global effort. Your images and stories were beautiful, inspirational, and quite often deeply touching; thank you.
